Booking terms

Rates

Prices per week, cleaning, bed linen and towels included. Stays run from one to four weeks, between March and November. Booked here, a stay costs at least 10% less than on Airbnb.

How a booking works

• Choose your arrival in the calendar and fill in the short form.
• On the secure payment page (Stripe), a hold is placed on your card for the 30% deposit. Nothing is charged.
• I reply within 48 hours. If I accept, the deposit is taken; if I decline, or do not reply within 5 days, the hold is released.
• The balance is charged automatically 30 days before arrival, on the same card. For a stay starting in less than 30 days, the whole stay is held at once.

Security deposit

A €300 hold is placed on your card on the day you arrive. It is released after you leave; only damage would be deducted from it, after we have talked it through.

Cancellation

• Up to 60 days before arrival: the deposit is refunded in full, with no reason to give.
• Less than 60 days before arrival: the deposit is kept. The balance is not charged if you cancel before it falls due (30 days before arrival).
• Less than 30 days before arrival: the amounts paid are kept.
• If I ever had to cancel — which has not happened yet — everything you have paid is refunded in full.

The house

For two adults and a child. The orchard is a working one: expect watering days, pruning and the occasional machine. Arrival from the afternoon, departure in the morning; we settle the exact times together beforehand. The address and directions are sent before your arrival; a car is recommended.

Payment

Payments are in euros, by card, handled by Stripe. Your card details never pass through this site, and I never see them. Your card is kept on file, at Stripe, only for the balance and the security hold of this stay.

Your details

Your name, email, phone and message are used to answer you and to prepare your stay, and are never passed on to anyone else. Write to me and I will delete them.
